Staff Pharmacist is responsible for the accurate identification, preparation and distribution of drugs, the monitoring of patient drug therapies, and the provision of pharmaceutical care to patients served. Pharmacists supervise and direct ancillary personnel (technician, interns) working in their immediate area. In the absence of a Pharmacy Supervisor, a pharmacist may be required to assume essential responsibilities and perform the duties of the Pharmacy Manager.
This position provides care/service to a critically ill through rehabilitating, neonatal through geriatric patient population in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional and/or developmental age of the individual served.

Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS Pharmacy Degree
Pharm.D. degree and completion of an ASHP residency preferred
Knowledge of unit dose systems, IV admixture, chemotherapy, pharmacokinetics and drug use evaluation required
Previous hospital and clinical pharmacy experience preferred
Able to perform basic mathematical calculations
Current CA Registered Pharmacist License
