Assistant Laboratory Manager

Reporting to the Department Manager of the Clinical Laboratory, this position is responsible for assisting the manager in the supervisory and operational duties pertinent to the normal functioning of the Clinical Laboratory.

Works collaboratively with all members of the management team and Medical Staff towards achievement of the organization’s goals and objectives.  Provides ongoing leadership in the areas of financial accountability, personal development, and quality care/service for assigned areas and functions.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related field
• Five+ years’ experience in a clinical laboratory setting 2 years of supervisory experience preferred
• Current CA license as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist
