We are proud to introduce the Oak Valley Hospital Board of Directors, a dedicated group of local leaders committed to guiding our mission and ensuring the highest standards of care for our community.
Dan Cummins
Chairperson
Mr. Cummins is a retired Fire Captain and Paramedic. Part-time instructor at Modesto Junior College. A resident of the Oakdale Community since 1971. Mr. Cummins was elected to the Board in 2010.
Danielle Sanders
Vice Chairperson
Danielle Sanders is a fourth-generation resident of Oakdale and is deeply committed to the well-being of the community. With extensive experience as a realtor and a strong record of community involvement, Danielle brings valuable local connections and insight into the area’s unique needs.
Billie Scott
Secretary
Billie Scott has spent 30 years serving seniors in Stanislaus County, beginning her career at Oak Valley Hospital. Her work in retirement community leadership and at Central Valley Hearing Healthcare reflects her commitment to senior care and advocacy. Billie is also an inaugural board member of the Stanislaus Senior Foundation and a recipient of the “Excellence in Safety” award.
Sara Shipman
Finance Chairperson
Sara Shipman is a longtime resident of Oakdale. A dedicated professional, Sara is a well-respected REALTOR® and successful businesswoman. Ms. Shipman was elected to the Board in 2024.
Ann Bairos
Director
Ann Bairos has proudly called Waterford home for more than 20 years and is honored to serve on the Hospital Board of Directors. With more than 25 years of experience in healthcare, she has dedicated her career to caring for others and improving the health and well-being of her community. Ann is excited to serve as a liaison, helping strengthen the connection between the hospital and the community she proudly calls home. She enjoys gardening, spending time with her blended family, and is grateful for the opportunity to help ensure that quality healthcare remains accessible to the Waterford community and the surrounding region.

Meetings begin at 5:00 p.m. and are open to the public.
Meeting dates may change due to schedule conflicts such as legal holidays.
Meeting minutes are posted for the previous 3 months of District Board Meetings. Prior minutes are available through the Administrative Offices using appropriate request methods.
