Oak Valley Hospital District is currently seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant for our Inpatient or Outpatient Rehabilitation Services departments in Oakdale. This individual must have a passion for nursing excellence and be willing to provide outstanding patient and family supported care.

The Occupational Therapist Assistant, under the direct supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, provides designated physical therapy related services as outlined in the patient’s plan of care and within the scope of licensure and/or training.

This position requires providing care/service to an acutely ill (for the inpatient role) or outpatients (for the outpatient role) through rehabilitating pediatric through geriatric patient population in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional and/or developmental age of the individual served.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Associated Degree from accredited Occupational Assistants Program
  • High school graduate or equivalent required
  • One to two years experience as a licensed COTA or comparable training/experience for unlicensed OTA
  • Current California Occupational Therapy Assistant License
  • Current BLS certification

Salary: $43.00 – $53.00 per hour
