Oak Valley Hospital District is currently seeking a dynamic HR Receptionist/Assistant for our Human Resources department who will embrace our mission, vision, and values.

The Human Resources Receptionist/Assistant is responsible for attending to the telephones, filing, attending to requests, greeting guests, handling new hire paperwork and starts. Accountable for maintaining professionalism in all verbal interactions with all employees, hospital personnel and related outside agencies. Performs other clerical duties pertaining to the operation of Human Resources.

Job Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • Experience in support or receptionist role in Human Resources (preferred)
  • Ability to operate office equipment (copy machine, fax, adding machine, and computer).
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Must be detailed and customer service oriented, able to manage multiple tasks and be an effective team member.
  • Experience in Microsoft applications
  • Able to perform basic mathematical calculations
  • Type 40 wpm
  • Occasional stress due to multiple calls and inquiries

Salary: $21.00 – $23.00 per hour
