Oak Valley Hospital District is currently seeking a dynamic HR Benefits Coordinator and Support for our Human Resources department who will embrace our mission, vision, and values.

The Human Resource Benefits Coordinator will administer company sponsored benefits, health insurance and leaves acting as the primary liaison between employees and providers.
The Benefits Coordinator is responsible for the administration, communication, and compliance of the hospital’s employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, disability, leave of absence programs, and wellness initiatives. This role ensures that employees understand and can effectively utilize their benefits, while maintaining compliance with federal, state and organizational policies. The Benefits Coordinator acts as a key liaison between providers and internal HR staff.
Responsible for all active and terminated personnel records for the Human Resources Department. Also responsible for tracking data and entry as it pertains to applicants, new hires, terminations, and current employees, personal information and other duties as needed.

Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent required
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred but not required
- Three to five years’ experience in a Personnel/Human Resources Department preferred
- Must be detailed and customer service oriented, able to manage multiple tasks, be an effective team member and demonstrate core values.
- Experience with an HRIS database, Microsoft applications
- Must demonstrate excellent written/verbal interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills
- Able to perform basic mathematical calculations
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
Salary: $23.00 – $26.00 per hour
