Licensed Vocational Nurse – Surgical Services – Days, Full-time

Oak Valley Hospital District is currently seeking a dynamic certified Licensed Vocational Nurse for our Surgery department who will embrace our mission, vision, and values. Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, the surgical services LVN assesses patient/family health problems and resources. Assists in the development, implementation, and outcomes evaluation of a plan for nursing care provided by the nursing team. Provides technical nursing care and interventions to designated patient populations.

This position requires providing care and/or service to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient population in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited LVN School of Nursing
• High school graduate or equivalent required
• Three (3) years’ experience preferred
• Able to perform basic mathematical calculations
• LVN with job training in Surgical Technology or will to train in surgical roles.
• Current California LVN license
• Current AHA BLS
• Certification in Surgical Technology is desirable
