Dr. Edward Chock is a board-certified general surgeon who has been providing trusted surgical care to patients in the Central Valley for more than 45 years. He is dedicated to delivering compassionate, individualized care and believes that listening to each patient’s concerns is the foundation of achieving the best possible outcomes. For more than two decades, Dr. Chock has been proud to care for patients at Oak Valley Hospital, building lasting relationships with the community through experience, trust, and personalized care.

Dr. Chock earned his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed his general surgery residency at University of California, Davis Medical Center. He is board certified in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery.

He provides comprehensive surgical care for a wide range of conditions, including hernias, gallbladder disease, appendicitis, colon conditions, skin and soft tissue masses, and other general surgical needs. Jihan Hegazy is a board-certified general surgeon specializing in minimally invasive, robotic-assisted, and gastrointestinal surgery. She is committed to providing personalized, patient-centered care and believes that educating patients and involving them in their treatment decisions leads to the best possible outcomes.

Dr. Hegazy completed her medical education and advanced surgical training with a focus on minimally invasive and robotic surgery. She is board certified in General Surgery and has extensive experience treating a wide range of conditions affecting the digestive system and abdominal wall.

She provides comprehensive surgical care for hernias, gallbladder disease, acid reflux (GERD), colorectal conditions, thyroid disorders, skin and soft tissue masses, and other general surgical needs. Whenever appropriate, Dr. Hegazy utilizes advanced laparoscopic and robotic-assisted techniques to help reduce pain, minimize scarring, shorten hospital stays, and support a faster recovery.
