Oak Valley Hospital District is currently seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for our Inpatient or Outpatient Rehabilitation Services departments in Oakdale. This individual must have a passion for nursing excellence and be willing to provide outstanding patient and family supported care.

The Physical Therapist Assistant, under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, provides designated physical therapy related services as outlined in the patient’s plan of care and within the scope of licensure and/or training.
This position requires providing care/service to an acutely ill (for the inpatient role) or outpatients (for the outpatient role) through rehabilitating pediatric through geriatric patient population in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional and/or developmental age of the individual served.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Completed Physical Therapy education/training at an approved school and/or approved work experience
- High school graduate or equivalent required
- Current California Physical Therapy Assistant certificate or approval as Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Current BLS certification
- One to two years experience as a licensed PTA or comparable training/experience for unlicensed PTA
Salary: $42.00 – $52.00 per hour
