The Registered Dietitian (RDN) provides comprehensive nutrition assessment, intervention, education, and monitoring for patients in the acute care hospital and skilled nursing facility under the direction of the Director of Clinical Nutrition. This position is responsible for implementing the Nutrition Care Process (NCP), ensuring evidence-based nutrition care, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field required
  • Master’s degree required for individuals credentialed after January 1, 2024 (per CDR requirements, if applicable)
  • Clinical dietetics experience in hospital or skilled nursing facility preferred
  • Strong knowledge of medical nutrition therapy and therapeutic diets
  • Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team environment
  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
  • Licensure as required by California state law

Salary: $51-55 per hour
