Oak Valley Hospital District is currently seeking a dynamic Registered Nurse for our ICU department who will have critical care float capability to the ER. This individual must have a passion for nursing excellence and be willing to provide outstanding patient and family supported care.

The ICU Nurse with Critical Care Float Capability to ER at Oak Valley Hospital District is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and, as needed, in the Emergency Room (ER). This role requires a highly skilled and adaptable nurse who can effectively manage complex patient care situations in both settings while collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Performs duties under the direction of the Charge Nurse. Responsible for providing high quality individualized basic care activities within the Emergency Room Tech scope of practice.
Candidates must be a graduate of a RN school of nursing and possess a current California RN license. A bachelor’s degree in a health-related field and 1 year of experience in an emergency department is preferred but not required. Pay rate depends on experience.

Job Requirements
- Current California RN License
- Minimum of 2-3 years of nursing experience in critical care, with a strong preference for experience in both ICU and ER settings.
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) acceptable.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of nursing experience in critical care, with a strong preference for experience in both ICU and ER settings.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
- Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification preferred.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred.
