The Med-Surg Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing patient/family health problems and resources, and takes a leadership role in the development, implementation and outcomes evaluation of a plan for nursing care. Provides professional nursing care and interventions to medical surgical patients to include, but not limited to, general surgery, orthopedic, pediatric, family practice and internal medicine.

Candidates must be a graduate of a RN school of nursing and possess a current California RN license. A bachelor’s degree in a health-related field and 1 year of experience in a Med-Surg department is preferred but not required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
  • Associate Degree in Nursing
  • One (1) year recent acute care experience preferred
  • Current California RN License
  • Current AHA BLS required
  • Current AHA PALS (within 30 days of hire)
  • Current AHA ACLS required

Pay: $49.50 – $60.00 per hour
