Respiratory Therapist, Per Diem

Oak Valley Hospital District is currently seeking a dynamic Respiratory Therapist for our Respiratory Therapy department who will embrace our mission, vision, and values. The Respiratory Care Practitioner assists the Respiratory supervisor in developing, implementing and controlling the provisions of the therapeutic and diagnostic patient care services in accordance with the policies of the hospital district and the directives of the medical staff. This position performs all the duties as defined by the State of California Respiratory Care Practice Act, which coincide with the policies of OVHD.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • High school graduate or equivalent required
  • Completion of an AMA approved course in Respiratory Care or equivalent
  • Possession of a current Respiratory Care Practitioner license issued by the State of California Respiratory Care Board
  • A Registered Respiratory Therapist certified by the National Board for Respiratory Care (RRT) Preferred
  • Possess and maintain current PALS, ACLS, BLS, and NRP certification

Pay: $29.00 – $38.00 per hour

Work Location: Oakdale
