The Telemetry Monitor Technician works at the nursing station performing clerical and receptionist duties and requisitioning supplies equipment and services from other departments. This person is also responsible for continuous monitoring of patient on telemetry monitor. He/She will print rhythm strips as required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Telemetry certification or documented competency within 90 days
  • Familiar with medical terminology
  • Experience in a health care setting is preferred
  • Ability to operate office equipment (copy machines, FAX, adding machines, and computer)
  • CPR certified, or complete within 90 days
  • Current AHA BLS
  • High School graduate or equivalent required

Pay: $19.50 – $24.00 per hour
