Oak Valley Hospital District is currently seeking a dynamic certified Surgical Technician for our Surgical Services department who will embrace our mission, vision, and values. Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, assesses patient/family health problems and resources. Assists in the development, implementation, and outcomes evaluation of a plan for nursing care provided by the nursing team. Provides technical nursing care and interventions to designated patient populations

This position requires providing service to a one or more age populations including an ill pediatric, adult through geriatric patient population in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/ developmental age of the individual served.

Job Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical technology School
  • High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • One (1) year experience as a surgical technician in an acute hospital
  • Certification in surgical technology preferred
  • Current AHA BLS
  • CRCST Certification required.

Salary: $26.00 – $30.00 per hour
