Referral Clerk is responsible performs clerical duties, obtaining referrals for patients and coordinating patient referrals. They will also verifying insurance coverage, getting prior authorizations, collecting medical history and physicals as required and schedule appointments. The referral clerk will work with multiple provider offices and insurance companies and continual follow up.

Job Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent required
  • Ability to operate office equipment (copy machine, fax, adding machine and computer)
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
  • Current AHA BLS

Salary: $19.00 – $21.00 per hour
