Job Description
Oak Valley Hospital District is currently seeking a dynamic Unit Assistant for our Emergency Department who will embrace our mission, vision, and values. This individual must have a passion for nursing excellence and be willing to provide outstanding patient and family supported care.

Reporting to the Nurse Manager, this position supports the unit by performing a variety of Data Entry, Clerical and user assistance functions for the Emergency Department.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Current BLS certification
- Three months to one year of experience as unit secretary in similar department preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Basic computer knowledge, such as word processing, spreadsheet
- Typing speed of 45 wpm
- Able to perform basic mathematical calculations
- High school graduate or equivalent required.
Salary: $18.65 per hour
