Job Description

Reporting to the Nurse Manager, this position supports the unit by performing a variety of Data Entry, Clerical and user assistance functions for the Emergency Department.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Current BLS certification
  • Three months to one year of experience as unit secretary in similar department preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Basic computer knowledge, such as word processing, spreadsheet
  • Typing speed of 45 wpm
  • Able to perform basic mathematical calculations
  • High school graduate or equivalent required.

Salary: $18.65 per hour
