There are options of how you can pay your bill, including setting up a payment plan. Please call 209-848-5366 for more information on your bill and potential payment options.

Eligibility for financial assistance is based on an evaluation of income and expense information. Monetary assets may be considered as well. Patients must meet eligibility requirements and complete an application to qualify. Eligible patients cannot be charged more than the amounts generally billed for emergency or other medically necessary care.

Oak Valley Hospital District realizes that hospital care can be expensive. To help meet the needs of low-income, uninsured and underinsured patients, Oak Valley Hospital District has a financial assistance program for full charity or discounted care to assist eligible patients who do not have the financial ability to pay their medical bills.

 

Based on current Federal Poverty Level guidelines, you may qualify for free or discounted care. Eligibility for financial assistance is based on an evaluation of family income, monetary assets, and medical costs. Patients must meet eligibility requirements and complete an application to qualify. How to Apply

In order to determine your eligibility for financial assistance, you will need to complete the free Financial Assistance Application and provide additional supporting documents.

Access the Financial Assistance Application by using the link above. Additionally, it can be accessed in person at the Oak Valley Hospital Main Admitting Department, Emergency Department or Patient Financial Services Department* or by mail if requested by calling 209-848-5366. You must submit your Financial Assistance Application in person or by mail to the Patient Financial Services Department* at:

*Patient Financial Services Department is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, except holidays.

HOSPITAL BILL COMPLAINT PROGRAM

The Hospital Bill Complaint Program is a state program, which reviews hospital decisions about whether you qualify for help paying your hospital bill. If you believe you were wrongly denied financial assistance, you may file a complaint with the Hospital Bill Complaint Program.
